During an ODI men’s international Cricket World Cup match England vs Sri Lanka, England scored their lowest total against Sri Lanka in the cricket world cup.

After winning the toss, England decided to bat first, but they struggled to build a big total and eventually were all out for just 156 runs. The opening batsmen, Bairstow and Malan, got off to a good start, scoring 30 and 28 runs respectively. However, Bairstow got out to Rajitha’s over, and Malan was dismissed by Mathews. This led to a collapse of England’s batting line-up, resulting in their lowest score against Sri Lanka.

Unfortunately, Ali was caught out by the fielder at the int when the team’s total was at 122.

The Sri Lankan bowler bowled beautifully. M. Theekshana gave just 21 runs in 8.2 overs bowled 1 maiden over and took 1 wicket. On the other hand, Mathews bowled 5 overs, gave just 14 runs, bowled 1 maiden over, and took 2 wickets.
